Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN as a SportsCenter News Anchor. She began working for ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been so since the age of nine. This skill helped her to get her first job with Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. After this she was hired by her CBS subsidiary in St. Petersburg employed her as a sports reporter. Then, in 2009 the news reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as in addition to Fox2 News. Her stories covered immigration drugs, immigration, as well as various other topics on the Texas and Mexico border. Soon after they separated, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo remarried. He died of kidney cancer in 2006. The summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten the job. Antonietta was a senior in high school with an idea of what she would like her life to look like, traveled to Mount Union University to see if the school suited her. It was a beautiful campus and offered the degree she was looking for. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the college. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor for WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a member. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
